Privacy

The short version

This website is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no tracking pixels, and has no forms. We do not build a profile of you, and there is nothing here to opt out of. The one exception is described under Fonts below, and it is worth reading.

Who we are

Digital Socket, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company, operating from Paris, with its registered office at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, New Castle County, USA. For anything in this document, write to hello@digital-socket.com.

What this site collects

Nothing, directly. There is no account to create, no form to submit, no newsletter, and no comment field. We do not use Google Analytics or any equivalent.

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs — typically IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent — as an ordinary part of serving and securing a website. We do not use those logs to identify or track individual visitors.

Fonts

The three typefaces used across this site are served by Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address and user agent. This is a transfer to a third party outside the EU, and we would rather be plain about it than bury it. We intend to self-host these files, which removes the request entirely; when we do, this section will be deleted rather than softened.

If you email us

When you write to us we process what you send — your address, your message, and anything you attach — for the sole purpose of replying and, if it goes further, carrying out the work. We keep business correspondence for as long as it is commercially or legally useful, and no longer. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone for marketing.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, or to complain to a supervisory authority. Ask us and we will do it — there is no form and no fee.

• In the EU you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This is a business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we will change this page in the same release, and move the "last updated" date at the top. We will not quietly widen what we collect.
